Most of my writing endeavours so far have been unfinished attempts at executing fairly decent ideas. I’m hoping to avoid that fate by targeting more bite-sized and manageable projects. Particularly, writing a blog post seems like a half-decent attempt at that. In this format, where my viewership might consist only of me and where the format itself might be in its twilight stages, publishing small articles on topics that perhaps only I care about is appealing.
So what do I care about, and what can you, as my reader, expect from this? Well, I can assure you that there is nothing in these pages that you can’t figure out for yourself with some time and effort. I have despised Self-Help Gurus who claim to have the secret to life which can almost always be summarised in a single book that revolves around a single concept that usually also serves as the Title of the book. Talk about overloading. So yeah, I’m definitely not going to do that. Nor do I have the time or the patience, like these guys, to stretch a simple concept that could be summarized in a paragraph to the length of a book.
What you can expect from me is a bunch of mistakes as I find my footing along with a few reflections on things that I have tried out and that have worked for me. I might also delve into topics that matter to me or things that I find cool which include but are not limited to spirituality, psychology, philosophy and on a broader scale, people and how we relate to each other.
But above all, this is an effort — no, an experiment — to see if my experiences hold any value for anyone who chooses to read them.
And so, we start.
